SLR ION 9.7” HDX Gel Blaster - Dark Earth

The ION HDX Series of Dytac's SLR family of AEG Gelsoft Rifles offers affordability and quality in one robust unit coupled with reliable internals that will lower your jaw to the floor. 

Licensed by SLR Rifleworks - Dytac have made one of the best gel blasters of 2021. The receiver, handguard and outer barrel are made from metal and the stock and pistol grip are made from a high quality Nylon Fibre. 

This gel blaster model is also available in multiple colour ways - Black, Two Tone & Dark Earth.

The ION HDX is highly customisable, supporting a wide range of aftermarket external parts and accessories thanks to its MLOK handguard and its huge full-length top rail.

The top rail is the full length of the gel blaster and gives you plenty of space to build the optics setups leaving plenty of room for large scopes, as well as holographic and magnifier setups.

The rail is 20mm RIS / RAS, the most common type in Gelsoft, meaning that most sights and scopes will quickly and easily attach with no fuss. The handguard of the gel blaster measures a comfortable 9.7 inches making the blaster great for outdoor skirmish The rear of the gel blaster features a Dytac D2 stock, built from high-quality polymer. 

Internally the ION HDX features everything people have come to expect and love from a V2 with a quick change spring system, quality internal parts, plenty of options for upgrades and plenty of aftermarket part support should something go wrong.

This Gelsoft blaster features a standard V2 gearbox, commonly found in majority of M4 styles, meaning that there is a vast selection of upgrade parts available for this replica, even if it doesn't really need them out the box.

This gel blaster is perfect for those Gelsoft Players who are looking for an extremely solid base from which to start them on their way as a Skirmisher or even a solid base for HPA builds.

Charging Batteries

Do not leave batteries unattended whilst charging and take off charge when they have completed charging.

When charging the batteries, we recommend charging them between 1-4 hours.
When they are charging the light/s will flash and once it is fully charged, the light/s will turn a solid red or green.

Also once you start to hear the battery getting flat, please recharge it as running it flat can damage the cells.

 Soaking & Storage of Gels

When soaking the gels, they need to be soaked fully submerged in water from the tap for a minimum of 5-6 hours.

Once they have fully grown you can leave them in the water and keep them in or out of the refrigerator.

When you are ready to use them just drain of any excess water with a strainer before you feed them into the mag but do not dry them as they need to be lubricated to work properly.

You can store gel balls in a bucket of water with a lid for up to 3 months before they start to go super soft. We recommend if you do this to change the water every couple of weeks.

Do not upgrade any part of your toy gel blaster as this will void the warranty. Upgrades refer to pulling any of the blaster apart or opening it up, changing springs or upgrading the battery from 7.4v to an 11.v battery.
